i’m meeting an old colleague i haven’t seen in ages. she’s not in a great place mentally right now – i heard from a mutual friend that she attempted to take her own life a while back. we’re not particularly close, but i just wanted to check in with her. i remember her mentioning she enjoys a good autobiography or biography, and she’s fond of romantic novels too. any suggestions would be much appreciated.
