I work in psychological research and am close to finishing my degree. I'm also in a good place mentally and don't really care about bettering myself lol. Therapy is pretty much the only area of psychology I have zero interest in. Unfortunately the book landscape seems VERYYY focused on mindset/relationship stuff ðŸ˜
Otherwise, I have a broad interest in most anything to do with Psychology so I'd like recommendations for books that are more science and evidence-based with the intent to inform rather than to teach/enlighten.
Books-wise, I'm a big fan of Oliver Sacks and really enjoying The Eye by Simon Ings (Extra interested in visual/perceptual psychology), but I'd welcome any subfield of Psychology as long as it's well researched
