    1. I have The Story of Art by Ernst Gombrich. It was first published in 1950 and there’s a reason why it’s still in print today – it’s a comprehensive and accessible history of art that some regard as an essential classic of the genre. Certainly it’s worth considering.

    3. All that Glitters by Orlando Whitfield was quite eye opening about the international gallery/artist estate sales industry.
