Hey! I’ve just agreed to form a book club with a childhood friend who is a Trump-supporter. I work in advocacy for immigrants and my son is trans so I’m having some amount of trepidation about this, but also hoping that this might be a non-confrontational opportunity to change a mind or at least open a discussion.
Any suggestions for fiction books that help folks remember their humanity and maybe see the dangers of oligarchy and fascism?
