I like to read similar but unrelated books together, like with the dystopian fiction in the title, or my recent trilogy of Crying of Lot 49 by Pynchon coupled with Twenty Days of Turin by De Maria and Crash by Ballard.

    Any other suggestions?

Could also do history. I have 3 unrelated books about various aspects of The Spanish Civil to get through soon, and last year I read books on the Russian Revolution, Rasputin, and the Romanovs.

I found that John Keegan’s First World War Book and Second World War books were much improved by reading The Dark Valley: A Panorama of the 1930s by Piers Brendan in between the 2

    2. No suggestions, but this is a fascinating approach. I always seek variability in my current reads, so I can easily hop to a different topic.

What is that third book you mention in sequence? Couldn’t locate a book named “We”
