I've read The Stranger by Camus and wanted to delve deeper into his philosophy in The Myth of Sisyphus. That proved to be harder than expected as the material was so dense it's taken me 3 days to just get 5% into it.

I'm not completely clueless when it comes to philosophical texts, but their language feels like a barrier. Worse still, everything I read feels like it should have come with a required reading list before I should've been allowed to read the first page.

So do you have any philosophy books that might help with this? Not all inclusive "intro to philosophy" books, but actual solitary texts by a philosopher that make understanding these concepts easier.

    1. I know this isn’t what you’re looking for but reading Wikipedia pages before things helps me a lot. That way, I know what the general theme and ideas are.
