I'm going through a painful breakup right now, and I need a good book to distract me from crying and feeling like the world has ended.
I'm looking for something that makes me feel warm and fuzzy, a feel-good book that isn't slow or hard to read. It needs to keep my attention and stop me from ruminating. A perfect escape from reality.
Basically a book that leaves you feeling better than you did before you picked it up.

Try- What You Are Looking For is in the Library, it’s a beautiful book that definitely made me feel good
Sorry for your breakup, I think you should read “What you are looking for is in the library” by Michiko Aoyama.
*The Prague Cemetery* by Eco Umberto. Even though it is a little complex, it’s interesting as well as absurd (in an oddly funny way). It’s a historical novel playing in Italy around the 19th century and except for the main character, all characters existed, so it’s barely fictional. I really enjoyed reading it. I’m not sure if it will help you feel much better but it’s a great way to escape reality (in my opinion). Also, I’m sorry about your breakup and I hope you’ll recover from that as fast as possible. <3
A Psalm for the Wild Built (and its sequel, A Prayer for the Crown Shy)
