Ok… so for some reason, I've been re-watching videos about GoT, and I realized I miss that show. I thought about reading the books, but I haven't read fantasy since I was a child reading about the boy with the lightning scar, and even those, I gave up by book 4.

After that, I only read the Gallant by V. E. Schwab, and I thought it was a bit too YA for me.

So, something for beginners in the fantasy genre (preferably not super long), but not too YA.

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett is written as a journal which I think makes it an easier read

    2. A few of my friends just read {{The Teller of Small Fortunes by Julie Leong}} and it was the first ever fantasy for a lot of them and they seemed to think it was a great easy intro to the genre.
