Think the Dr. Ruth Galloway series by Elly Griffiths, but with less cheating and a romance that develops like the TV shows Bones and Castle. It's also enjoyable when the character aren't always dull and have some light moments. Not looking for anything that's too serious or painful to read (especially involve any SA related crimes.
