Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a book similar to Waiting for the Barbarians by J.M. Coetzee. I originally wanted to do my thesis on this book, but my supervisor rejected it, along with all the other books I showed her. Now I'm under pressure to choose something else, and I'm running out of time.
I need fiction related to colonialism, and if the writing style is similar to Coetzee's, that's even better. My supervisor has another condition: the book must be newly released, or at least published after 2011.
I'm really struggling to find a good one, so I’d really appreciate your suggestions. I will appreciate your responses.
