I just read Bookseller of Kabul, and while it’s a good book, it really bothers me how incredibly biased the narrative is. I would like to read other books in Afghanistan (fiction or non-fiction, although preferably not straight history textbook) that can provide other perspectives on the culture and its treatment of women. Any suggestions for good reads? I’ve already read Kite Runner and A Thousand Splended Suns
