Very basic but Victor Frankel’s – ‘Man’s Search for Meaning’ truly changed so much of how I view life.
You don’t even have to read the 2nd part very deeply to understand what the author is getting at.
My favourite takeaways are:
1) that we have no control over ANYTHING in life except how we react to situations. The only sovereignty we have is our attitude.
2) Happiness mustn’t be a pursuit but shall ensue if we have purpose (whether that’s work, love etc) that drives us.
