I've read books 1 through 4 of Riyria Revelations, and now consider diving into 5 and 6 (the third volume).
The first two were good; the third, enjoyable; but traversing through the fourth was a bit tiring. I didn't enjoy the ever-expanding cast of characters and the seafaring wasn't fun either.
I really love Sullivan – The Legends of the First Empire series is fantastic! – but I'm not sure if it's worthwhile finishing this series.
Any spoiler-free recommendations? So far, I am really on the fence.

I found that exact same volume very slow to get through. But yes, it got better and much more interesting in the next volumes in my opinion.
