Well, Doomsday Book by Willis is first thing to pop to mind. Old Man’s War worth a look, for sure. Glimpses by L Shiner is tragically under-read. The Eyre Affair by Fforde is very funny for the litterati. Winter’s Tale by Helprin and Time and Again by Finney!
and…
Maybe H G Wells – it’s a quick read from another era; kind of time travel in itself
It’s a touch silly at times but I really enjoyed The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O which is about a US government agency that uses time travelling to re-establish magic in the present day. But tbh Doomsday book, already mentioned above, is the stand out for me.

Best in my opnion:
The Ministry of Time, Kalianne Bradley – history, thriller, humour, romance, time travel all in one. A recent release and first novel by this author. Excellent.
Doomsday Book, Connie Willis. To Say Nothing Of The Dog – Connie Willis (Humour this one)
She has a number of stories and books in her “Oxford Time Travel” world, all can be read stand alone. New on out this year too.

The door into summer by Robert Heinlein.
His short story By His Bootstraps also deals with time travel and is very good in my opinion.
