Hi! I'm really looking for book suggestions (without spoilers please!) to get over my reading slump. I think the last time I've read was about 2-3 years ago, and I wanna get back to it since I still remember how reading was magic for me. Currently, I'm considering Human Acts and Greek Lessons by Han Kang, and Breast and Eggs by Mieko Kawakami but I'm not sure yet. What are your thoughts?

I haven’t read either of those but I recommend Strange Sally Diamond. It hooked me from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until it was done.
Ray Bradbury is a writer I will always circle back to when I want to read fiction
The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin is a quick, easy read.
Based on what you’ve listed, I’d also consider Pachinko (Mon Jin Lee), a multigenerational family epic about Koreans (eventually in Japan) and the newest Murakami book, The City and Its Uncertain Walls (it feels like throwback Murakami before he got extra edgy and weirdly sexual, mostly because it’s a reworking of a story he first worked on as a young writer).
Also check out Ruth Ozeki’s A Tale For The Time Being, which is about the connection between a girl on Japan and a woman in the Pacific Northwest of the US.
I’m assuming the selection of Asian authors in your consideration set wasn’t a mistake. Han Kang is wonderful, but she’s not the easiest read – very heavy subject matter.
