Sitting at my desk in an office, it strikes me that I've never come across any books that tell a story about a team. I always love mosaic narratives, such as The Bee Sting or The Fate of the Meijer Family. And I'm fascinated by teams – the way we are supposed to work together whether we like each other or not, the way we're motivated (or not at all!) by company goals or customer satisfaction or whatever. Why are families often the setting for mosaic novels, or friend groups, or people who don't know each other at all, but never teams?
At least, as far as I know. That's where I could use some help. Do you know a good book about a team?
To clarify a bit further: I guess you could call the Lord of the Rings trilogy a mosaic about a team, where the Fellowship is the team and the narrative takes a mosaic form from book two. But that's is clearly not a team in an office. And the goal is very compelling of course. I think I'm especially looking for stories where there is no clearly defined common goal for the team, but where people sort of 'touch' each other's storylines and character development takes center stage towards a beautiful lesson for the overarching story. Hope that makes sense!

It’s YA, so that may or may not be what you’re looking for, but my first thought was Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. It’s a heist type storyline with a team effort behind it.
