I really loved reading Good Omens but want to try out some similar books that AREN'T by Terry Pratchett, LOL. I loved the excess of details to follow, watching multiple distinct but related narratives eventually converge, and especially loved the fun of footnotes. I don't mind a more serious or darker book, but would prefer it to be at least a little witty.

Try Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell
Oh, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell might be right up your alley. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14201.Jonathan_Strange_Mr_Norrell
If you’re a fan of details, footnotes, and fantasy, then I have to recommend Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke. It’s long but a great read.
If you enjoyed *Good Omens* and Terry Pratchett’s style, here are some similar reads:
1. **”The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams** – Rich with humor, footnotes, and quirky narratives.
2. **”The Eyre Affair” by Jasper Fforde** – A playful mix of fantasy, mystery, and literary references.
3. **”House of Leaves” by Mark Z. Danielewski** – A complex, multi-layered narrative with footnotes and a sense of mystery.
4. **”Neverwhere” by Neil Gaiman** – Dark and witty, with intertwined storylines and rich, imaginative detail.
These should satisfy your craving for a mix of humor, complexity, and engaging narratives!
