So I spent all of January waiting for the arrival of a book that I ordered the day after Christmas. All through it, I kept my cool, because, as I told myself, there are people in Los Angeles who don't have a book to their name.
And now I'm thinking about those people. I wonder if it's possible to do some kind of book donation. People who are in a shelter or a motel room or someone else's house can't have a lot of stuff with them, but they would have room for a book or two. And I can well imagine how comforting it might be, to those who generally do find comfort in books. How would someone go about this? Bearing in mind that I'm in the Eastern time zone.

I think people like that probably just use libraries.
Hence, libraries!
