Hi all! I'm about to head on vacation with my husband! 6 days on the beach. I want a page turner of a novel we can both read together.
I had originally chosen 11/22/63, but my husband thinks it'll be too long to get through, and maybe he's right.
Which of the 2 in my title would you choose? If you think we can do better, I'll take those suggestions too.

I just finished Project Hail Mary and LOVED IT. One of the best books I’ve read in the last couple of years.
Both are good – but they’re very different. PHM is realistic and detail-oriented. DM is more fantasy/supernatural and you have to suspend disbelief and focus on the big picture if you want to ignore the plot holes. Andy Weir is objectively a slightly better writer than Blake Crouch.
11/22/63 is my favorite book of all time, and King is a FAR better writer than Weir or Crouch, so I’d encourage you to reconsider on that one.
11/22/63 is amazing. I’ve read all three you mention and I would put that first by a margin. I liked the other two very much, and PHM moreso.
Both excellent books, but I’d choose Project Hail Mary over Dark Matter, as it made me laugh out loud and is now one of my favourite books!
PHM. I’ve read both. Not my fave, either of them, I prefer Weirs others more. But of the two I’d say PHM.
