I love stories with satisfying endings.
Maybe I just haven't read enough books yet or the right type. But I always feel like most books end too soon after things finally work out. I want to spend more time with the characters after the struggles, enjoying their happiness instead of just getting a quick wrap-up or epilogue.
Are there any books that actually let you experience the good times for a while instead of cutting things off the moment everything is okay?

On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves has a companion novella of 160 pages that continues the story after the happily ever after. It’s called Uncharted. Highly recommend the two books.
