Title says it all. He's in his mid 80s and his health is deteriorating rapidly. He's lived in 15 different countries and travelled to over 100 more. He asked for "culturally-rich adventure" books, or really anything else you all might recommend to someone who is grappling with his mortality after living a life full of adventure and travel.

    2. There’s books by BruceChatwin which are like travelogues. In Patagonia is great, the others also really good.

There’s also Sir David Attenborough’s book about his travels- Adventures of a young naturalist.

    3. I have 4 suggestions.
      1. The Goat Brothers By Larry Colton,
      2. A Fine Balance By Rohan Mistry,
      3. L.A. Rex By Will Beall,
      4. Tulia By Nate Blakeslee,
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

    4. Congo Kitabu by Jean-Pierre Hallet – About his adventures in Central Africa during the 50’s / 60’s. Hallet had a deep love for the culture and people. He was also a badass.
