Desperately seeking recommendations. I read A LOT and have an upcoming trip where I’ll have quite a bit of downtime. Would love to have a couple of great books to read. I typically stick to fiction and have a soft spot for sci fi and fantasy. Obscure titles or authors welcome, as I will have probably read 75% of the suggestions I get 😂.

Diana Gabaldon (big sucker for Outlander)
Neal Stephenson
Also open to good beach reads. I’ve already read everything Emily Henry and Abby Jimenez.

Either Simon Jimenez novel, The Vanished Birds (great) or The Spear Cuts Through Water (all-timer)
And if you’ve read those, the Hike by Drew Magary
