Took Les miserable away with me last year for two weeks. Always wanted to read it but the size of it has always put me off doing so. Ended up loving it, even the digression chapters and burned through it in one week. Has to be one of the greatest stories ever written.

The unabridged Count of Monte Cristo. It never EVER disappoints, and I’ve read it at least a dozen times now.

I big heavy one that I could user as a doorstop if necessary. I’d have no other use for it.
Each to their own, but I never understand why people go on vacation and spend half of it with their nose buried in a book. *You can do that at home!* Enjoy the break – make the most of it; get out an about. That’s my philosophy, anyway.
