hello! i love reading but has mostly stuck with YA in the past. I’m trying to get into the habit of reading again after a recent break-up. Do you have any suggestions for self-love or self-improvement books? A good YA romcom would also be nice! thank you !

I think Attached (Amir Levine & Rachel S.F. Heller) is a really useful read post-breakup. It helped me get a more thorough understanding of how I form emotional connections and what my needs are in romantic relationships. I really can’t overstate how much I recommend this book.

    2. Lynda Barry graphic novels like *come over come over* or *the greatest of marlys* or *100 hundred demons* deal tenderly with different kinds of grief and joy and take you away to her world, so it’s a nice distraction

    3. Normal People – Sally Rooney.
I read it in 2 days. Not entirely comedy but does get into the difficulties and complexities of a relationship. Wanting it to work but timing is never right.
