I often find that some of my favorite works of literature are those that no one ever talks about. I usually find these by reading the rarely mentioned works of famous authors that I already enjoy. But I’m not exactly one to experiment with a bunch of random new authors because I read slow and have a large tbr.
I was wondering if any of you have ever found an old novel or story by any forgotten authors, just by accident, and loved it. Maybe you checked online or asked people about it in person and nobody knows of it or very few mention it.
If it’s a never mentioned work by a famous author, that’s fine too but I’m looking for real oddities.
Maybe you didn’t love it, but it was interesting/unique in a way you’ve never seen before; those are welcome as well.
When I say old, I’m thinking over 100 years old but maybe even just older than 50-70 years.
Thank you 🙂
