I just watched Dune 1 and 2 for the first time. I know I’m late to the party, I just waited for a good moment to really watch and appreciate it. Me and my husband were absolutely IN LOVE with the movies.
Because I am more of a reader than a movie lover I immediately started researching the book series as I would love getting more background for the story etc. I read a good amount of scifi and fantasy series so I’m not afraid of reading long sagas. I thought it would maybe be a five book series, but was shocked to see the sheer amount of books in this saga. Now I‘m honestly a little overwhelmed. So, has anyone read the whole thing or part of it? I‘d love to read the two OG trilogies from the 60’s/70’s but does that even make sense without reading the prequel? I‘m pregnant due in July so maybe there will not be enough time to really read the whole saga…
I would appreciate a few tips and recs. And don‘t be afraid to write a spoiler free little review of the whole thing 😉
