I hate commuting on the tube with massive tomes so looking for shorter books, sub say 2-300 pages. Books that can slide into my bag or even coat pocket easily.
They don’t need to be standalone, can be part of a series or whatnot just each book needs to be transportable.
I don’t own and don’t intend to buy an e-reader, I prefer to have the real book in my hand

Sarah Moss writes amazing short novels. My favourite is Ghost Wall, but Summerwater and The Fell are great too.
