For context: I've been doing a lot of reading of different theories of political practice/philosophy: The Federalist Papers, Lenin's State and Revolution, Conquest of Bread, etc. But I'm realizing that as I gain more context, I realize how many different actors there were/are at any given point in history. I used to think that a group took power because their philosophy was correct, but I'm realizing that it's more so that they happened to be at the right place and the right time.
The book I'm looking for should analyze what makes the right place and what makes the right time. I've tried a couple different general Google searches for this topic (I even tried adding "Reddit" to them to help find suggestions) to no avail. Probably error on my part, so I thought I would ask the group rather than ask ai. Thanks in advance!
