Hello fellow readers,
I've been struggling with what to read lately and I seem to be drawn towards mystery and crime novels.
So far this year I've read through The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, And then there were none by Agatha Christie as well as Never coming back by Tim Weaver.
I've enjoyed reading a bit of Thursday Murder Club and the Robert Langdon series by Dan Brown, but I am looking for more ideas.
It's likely I may pick up the next boost in the above series, but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The God of the Woods by Liz Moore
I really enjoyed, The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett. Billed as “Featuring an unforgettable Holmes-and-Watson style pairing, a gloriously labyrinthine plot, and a haunting and wholly original fantasy world”
It’s going to take you into fantasy/sci-fi a bit, but provides for a wonderful world full of mysteries.
If it matters to you it’s highly rated (4.3 on Goodreads) and is stand-alone (but apparently there will be another book in the world).
My favorite contemporary writers in this genre:
Michael Connelly
James Ellroy
Dennis Lehane
Walter Mosley
George Pelecanos
I recently finished She’s Not Sorry by Mary Kubica. It’s both crime and mystery and for a while I suspected just about everyone.
