I finished the Histories by Herodotus and didn’t get much out of it but I am interested in reading more about ancient Greece

I would enjoy something focused on one personality if there’s anything noteworthy

If you’re into/interested in more myths and heroes and not just actual historical facts Stephen Fry’s Great Mythology series is a great guide, very funny and entertaining, and easy to follow even for ‘beginners’ (as in you don’t need to be a massive nerd to begin with to understand who’s who because he explains everything)!
