New to book recommendations so apologies if the request is not clear. I'm looking for a book with the following:
- Action (is action a book term? I like action movies but not sure what the term is for books) plot and romance plot, or one is a subplot. Can be sci-fi, fantasy, whatever.
- Male POV or main character is male.
- Ideally romance is written "for men" although I understand that can be highly subjective, so I'm flexible here. Not important in respect to the attraction or physical description but more so the emotional side is tailored more to the male experience??
- Relationship is eventually like "healthy / supportive"? Can start however, but not looking for something where the result is "she's bad for me but I love her".

Recursion by Blake Crouch would probably fit all of your criteria. The POV switches between a male and female character but the male character is essentially the main narrative.
