I’m looking for fantasy series that don’t have depressing endings. Brandon Sanderson is my favorite author and I love other books/series like Howl’s Moving Castle, The Hollow Kingdom, The Last Apprentice. Young Adult and Adult books preferred. I also love reeeeally long books but that’s not necessary. Some creepy/horror elements are also fun but not needed. I’d rather not have anything set in the modern day. I want something I can escape into that will leave me feeling satisfied at the end. I do enjoy some romance but I like it to be subplot and I can’t handle series where a romance is established and then one of them ends up dying at the end or they have to be separated or something similar. I’m already depressed and I don’t want something bringing me down more and that’s the main thing that really gets to me.
