This is not usually the type of book I would read, but I think the Dune series by Frank Herbert is quite philosophical and existentialist for a sci-fi, so I’d recommend you read it if you want to broaden your horizons.

Maybe you’d like Hermann Hesse. *Steppenwolf*, *Siddhartha*, and *The Glass Bead Game* are perhaps his three best-known works amongst English readers.

this is currently on my tbr shelf….its supposed to be fairly easy to read and thought provoking.
