I’m going through a breakup from my partner of 8 years – moved to a new city in my own apartment – and I feel very happy about a lot of things, but also sad and immobilised at times. I made this decision because I felt unhappy and very disconnected from the person I imagined I’d be as a child. I’m taking intentional steps to enjoy my life again, and in the moments where I feel unmotivated to do anything, I’d like to have a book to read that I can relate to and be encouraged by. I’m 30F. Some of my favorite writers are Donna Tartt, Haruki Murakami and Barbara Kingsolver. Any suggestions?
