Hello all!
I realized this year that I have never read a book about falling in love from the male perspective. Furthermore, I am the eldest of 3 daughters. My dad was a kind, loving but very quiet Scorpio Green Beret, so I have no concept of “masculinely” falling in love.
I would love to read such a book with the relationship being more than a side plot. Specifically, I am hoping to find a story with a MMC written by a male author (cis or trans).
I personally am -cis,hetero female (probably a 2.5 Kinsey), but the story needn’t be cis, hetero! Just, pray gods, let it be good!

Alexis Hall has written a number of books that may fit what you are looking for. The only three I have read are:
10 Things That Never Happened
Boyfriend Material
Husband Material (sequel to Boyfriend Material)
These three all feature M/M relationships
I am not sure if I would consider it a complete side plot, but the books are also not primarily love stories for the next suggestions (also M/M relationship):
The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
Somewhere Beyond the Sea by TJ Klune (sequel to above)
I am realizing I have not read many books that fit the criteria of male author writing books from the perspective of a man falling in love. I know of other titles where it’s a male perspective of falling in love, but the authors are females.
