I'm not picky on genre I just need an "easy listen" book that I can pick up or turn off as the sick kid needs me to.

It looks like we're going into a long night and Monday with a sick kid and truly don't want to watch TV while rocking with them.

Bonus points if your recommendations are not super popular with a major Libby hold line…I have lots of books cued up but unavailable right now.

    1. Me Talk Pretty Someday by David Sedaris (really anything by him) short stories about his life that are really funny.

How about The Outsiders (S E Hinton)? It’s not super long, it’s fairly readily available; it’s also super engaging but easy to jump in and out of. I know it’s meant to be YA genre, but I’m GenX and I pick it up every so often —it’s always a great read or listen. Best of luck to you and hope your little one gets better soon.
