I’m not shy at reading some out of pocket things, however I’ve haven’t really dove into like heavy smut/dark romance and I wanna see what’s with the uptick in popularity in these genres.
So I ask gimme your best recommendation pls!

I’ve grew up reading more horror/thriller type books like “unwind” series by Neal shusterman

Any triggers? The LORDS series starting with the Ritual by Shantel Tessier is a good one, but double check the triggers before you read.

If you want a dark romance but has a bit of comedy element, Butcher & Blackbird by Brynne Weaver might be a good option.
Boy Parts by Eliza Clark. Definitely sick, twisted and fd up. But amazing. Beautifully written and truly addictive. I devoured this book in like 4 days. Wish I could read it for the first time again. And it’s very spicy but I would not say it is romantic
