I had a massive mental barrier that I finally overcame for the first time in 5ish years…I finished a book!
The book I read was Anthony Bourdain’s: Kitchen Confidential. I am not a big foodie or chef but I was hooked on the authentic take on his life experiences in the industry. I think I also enjoyed it more because he is an “expert” in his field and happened to be an even better writer than chef.
Does anybody have any recommendations for biographies of interesting “experts” without requiring a lot of background knowledge on the subject?
I am open to any/all recommendations!
