Looking for books with protagonist that have social anxiety and/or are shut-ins.

This is a topic that interests me, I'm not an avid reader, so I don't any similar books that I have read to give as an example, the closest is that I really enjoy the When Marnie Was There movie, but the book was never published here in Brazil, so I never read it. I also did read a bot of Finding Audrey, but the mom character kinda ruined any enjoyment I was having with it.

There is also another problem, some books never got published in my country, so it makes it harder to obtain them, I tried asking for help in a portuguese subreddit, but got no answers there either. I am okay with any suggestions regardless of it being publisehd on Brazil or not though, I will try and see if they are available here.
