One of the worst things about being depressed is how isolating it feels, like you’re the only person in the world going through it.
I’m looking for books where depression is a big part of the story—not necessarily the only focus, but something that shapes the characters in a real way. It can be any genre, as long as it feels honest and hits that emotional depth. Bonus points if it has even a tiny bit of hope.
