    1. I haven’t encountered a book that kept me up like that in a while. I do remember binge-reading the later Harry Potter books as they were released though. Been a while since I’ve seen lines like that for a book release.

      The Troop by Nick Cutter
The only good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones.
      Tender is the Flesh.

These were cover to cover reads for me.

      City of Light, Lauren Belfer.
Read many years ago; I think it’s the only book that kept me up to read in one sitting.

I didn’t want to put ‘Night Circus’ down last night. Just starting it, though…

I’m also really into A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, right now – another page tuner!

I have three that I couldn’t put down:

The Passage trilogy by Justin Cronin (it’s unputdownable; when the third and final book was released, I took two days off work so I could binge read it)

The Millennium trilogy by Steig Larsson (but only the first 3 books, ignore the subsequent ones by different authors. The first 50 or so pages of the first book are a bit of a slog, but there’s a reason for the author presenting that information)

Moon of the Crusted Snow, and its sequel, Moon of the Turning Leaves, by Waubgeshig Rice (an amazing storyteller and an amazing story)

    6. Endurance by Alfred Lansing.

      Recursion by Blake Crouch.

      Sphere by Michael Crichton.

      Infected by Scott Sigler.

The Player of Games by Iain M Banks.

I know this is basic but… yellowface. It was incredible. Or, if you’re looking for a thriller then try run on red!

Ready Player One. All the nerd references coming together for the climax of the book made me fight sleep trying to finish it. I wish the movie was more like it!

    9. I’ve only read 2 books in my life in a single sitting.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (age 17 or so)

      Fight Club (age 26).

Fight Club, I was less than 24 hours out of prison (4 years for drug related crimes) and in a transitional living house. No money. No friends. Library 2 blocks away. I grabbed it from the library and sat in the living room from 10 pm until 6 am just pounding the book out. I’ll never forget the experience. That was nearly 10 years ago.
