A good book / series set during the Age of Sail that’s not Aubury-Maturin or Hornblower?

I've read all the Aubury-Maturin books a while ago and don't care for Hornblower's antics. So, is there anything else that's written well and set during the same time period? Doesn't have to be from the British perspective either.
