Like “The Vegetarian” or other books about women’s anger but ideally short stories! by cremeriee Related: White Nights by Dostoevsky suggest me a light, easy, fun read Suggest me a novel (with a darker tone) similar to Matt Haig’s The Midnight Library. Books with a main POV of a “stereotypically masculine” man in his 50s-70s. Can anyone point to some books with these themes?
rumi_kaur on February 23, 2025 11:45 pm Yes, I can recommend some. “The Way Up to Heaven” by Roald Dahl “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins “Notes on Achieving Singularity” by Mira Flores. Or “I’d Like to Make a Complaint” “The Wife’s Story” by Ursula K. Le Guin I can also recommend a few stories that are by Neil Gaiman, but I am not sure if that is desirable right now.
