Just as the title says. My mom had surgery and is bed bound for another five weeks. Now that she's not quite so loopy, I'd like to send her a few books (maybe a series even) as a surprise to give her a little pick me up and help pass the time. She's an avid reader, and I'm not sure what she's read recently. We have completely different tastes and I'm at a loss. She's into sci-fi for sure, mystery is good. The only thing she really can't stand is romance. Help?
