The book follows a woman from childhood who feels out of place to the point she feels like an alien and believes in that more and more. As she grows though a lot of triggering and traumatic experiences happen and nothing about it is skipped over. It also has a message about individualism vs collectivism and shines light on what’s expected from women in some countries.
