I went into this series knowing absolutely nothing. The first 6 or 7 chapters were intriguing, but once they put on the suit and start playing a VR game, it becomes wildly dumb. People sitting at computers playing an internet game acting like kings and prophets and the whole chaotic/stable eras thing is…weird. Is this where the story spends much of its time? Should I keep reading? It's so unbelievable that people would act like this in a VR game.

the 1st book was…interesting…if nothing else. the characters weren’t terribly realistic or well realized but the bizarre plot kept me hooked. the second book was simply awful. there are too many things to list to cover them all but suffice to say i put it down and never finished the series.
I do think it comes around and it’s worth it in the end. Thats just me though.
