A book with short interesting/eye opening sections like Meditations for Mortals.

I loved that book! Each chapter was a few pages long but provided a new way of seeing things. I’m looking for some more books like that.

They don’t have to be on the same theme. They don’t even have to be inspiring.

What I don’t want are parables a la Paulo Coehlo. Not trying to put that down, just not what I’m after.
