Besides the qualities of good and evil (please no), are there any very well written stories which power systems stem off of an individual’s values? Like beliefs, desires, fears, and other intangible ideas? A simple example would be a power system that grants wishes. These types of power systems are more likely to be character-driven due to how the powers would be reflective of the characters and may even change as the character changes. There may be a situation where characters are coming to terms with themselves based off the nature of their power and the consequences of it.
