Suggest me a book: I am looking to understand myself more, ive been extremely dissociated and need something grounding or teaches how to at least.
I am autistic and the book unmasking autism honestly made me feel so seen. I want that feeling again but I have gone through pretty much every book recommended for autistic adults, but dissociation is a big thing for me atm.
You might like Self-Compassion: The Proven Power of Being Kind to Yourself by Kristin Neff. It aims to help with grounding yourself through self-compassion, which can be crucial in managing dissociative experiences.
Best of luck to you!

Speed Of Dark by Elizabeth Moon?
It’s fiction but she wrote it as her own child is autistic.
It was interesting, POV from viewpoint of an autistic guy.
