Please read everything before you recommend something!
You'll probably recommend me You by Caroline Kepnes…thank you, but I knew about the series and didn't like how his object of affection changes every season (?). Also please don't recommend any plot twist like "The object of affection is crazier and more obsessed than the stalker warghhhhh"
I like poetry and proses. I loved Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe. I like anything philosophical, and anything about the human psyche. I like psychological horror. I like books that feel 'real'…like letter/diary format. I like first person POV a lot. I don't really care about plot, I care more about their thoughts and the way they describe the obsession.
Btw, the obsessor doesn't have to be only men, can be women too. But I need the object of affection to be a woman. Also, only sexual/romantic obsession please! Friendship obsession is fine too.
